Description:
The Department of Linguistics at the Ohio State University seeks applicants
for a position as a postdoctoral fellow for the academic year 2008-9. The
position will be primarily research-oriented, with a teaching obligation of
two courses per year and service obligations, such as organizing workshops
and serving on selected departmental committees. The postdoctoral fellow
will be expected to have a developed research agenda in an area or areas
that intersect with and complement those of the department, to deepen and
develop the interdisciplinary aspects of that agenda while in this
position, and to participate in the intellectual life of the department.
The appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of reappointment
for a second year.
