Papers are invited for a special issue of Research in Language devoted to
Research in L2. The journal, recognized as a scientific publication in a
Polish citation index, has been published since 2003 by the University of
Lodz Press, Poland. Its main focus is on primary research in linguistics
and language studies, both from a theoretical and applied perspective. The
special second language research issue will be published in a paper and
electronic version.

We invite papers exploring various aspects of second language and using
different theoretical and applied perspectives.

The deadline for paper submission is September 30, 2008. Please send the
electronic version (please contact the editors for submission guidelines)
to the editors Ewa Waniek-Klimczak (ewaklimuni.lodz.pl) and Jan Majer
(jlmajeruni.lodz.pl). After the process of peer-review, the notifications
of acceptance will be sent out by December 15, 2008.
