Meeting Description:

The workshop 'Ten years of Linguateca', a satellite meeting of PROPOR
(http://www.propor2008.org), will take place on September, 11, at the Grande
Hotel da Curia, Aveiro (Portugal).

This event is organized by Linguateca (http://www.linguateca.pt), and aims at
(i) presenting the Linguateca to a general public, (ii) critically reflecting
about its practice and results, and (iii) discussing the relevance of continuing
activities similar to the ones developed by Linguateca in the scope of the
computational processing of Portuguese.

In this event, about 30 speakers relate their own experience of Linguateca, from
various standpoints: peers, students, users and/or participants in activities
organized by Linguateca (see Programme
http://www.linguateca.pt/Linguateca10anos/programa.html for further details).

An open discussion about Linguateca's past and the future will also take place
during the workshop.

Please register (http://www.propor2008.org/index.php?topic=100) until September,
5th.
