Description:
The Department of English and American Studies offers a temporary full-time
lecturer position (until 28/02/2011, with possible extension), with a
concentration of teaching courses in the English language (8 hours per
semester) and in English linguistics (5 hours per semester). The language
teaching part comprises courses on German - English translation, grammar
and essay writing.
Candidates should hold a university degree in English linguistics, should
be qualified within at least one core area of linguistics as well as one
further field of (English) linguistics and should have some teaching
experience already. Native speakers of English (with an excellent knowledge
of German) will be preferred.
Starting date: 1/10/2008 (provisionally)
