Description:
The Department of Cognitive Science at Johns Hopkins University seeks a faculty member with an exceptionally strong record of conducting and directing cognitive research that makes substantive contact with linguistic theory. The rank is open, although preference will be given to either Assistant or Associate Professor appointments. The ideal candidate will carry out theoretical and experimental work on language representation, processing, and learning at multiple levels of language structure (speech perception, phonology, syntax) and will have the ability to conduct effective teaching, student supervision, and collaboration in a formally-oriented, highly interdisciplinary cognitive science environment.
