Description:
Educational Linguistics/TESOL Methods. Tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of English beginning Fall 2009. Course load is 3/3. This position requires a PhD in Applied Linguistics, English or related field by August 2009, as well as the expertise and ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in linguistics and TESOL, and undergraduate courses in composition. Familiarity with second language acquisition and written discourse/text linguistics is required. Demonstrated evidence of effective teaching and an active research program are required.
