Assistant Professor, Foreign Language Acquisition Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Foreign Language Acquisition to begin fall, 2009. The successful candidate will teach courses in Spanish language and in his or her fields of expertise. We seek a dynamic colleague who will lead the Department in the design and implementation of an innovative language curriculum. Responsibilities also include coordination of language courses and, as the need arises, achievement and proficiency testing. A PhD in second/foreign language acquisition or applied linguistics is required. Review of applications will begin on November 3 and continue until the position is filled. Selected candidates will be interviewed at the MLA convention.
