KanTalk.com is an online learning community that enables non-native English
speakers to improve their spoken skills. Over the past year, over 1,080
people from various language backgrounds have recorded over 1,480 speech
samples at the site, mostly reading the same paragraph.

These digital speech collections are open to anyone in the linguistic
community who does research and analysis on English accent and language
acquisition. The demographic information, such as age, gender, native
language, and etc., are available for the most of the recordings. The
collections can be accessed online free of charge at
http://www.kantalk.com/Recording/.
