The English Department of Metropolitan State College of Denver seeks a tenure-track faculty member with a specialization in linguistics. Responsibilities include: teaching linguistics courses for English majors, linguistics minors, and language and linguistics minors at an undergraduate level, including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, psycholinguistics, anthropological linguistics, and historical linguistics; teaching appropriate general education courses in the English Department, such as composition courses; ability to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a culturally diverse population; advising in the two linguistics minors; serving on Departmental and College committees; and pursuing professional development.
