Georgia Southern University's Department of Writing & Linguistics invites applications for Chair of the Department. The Department offers a B.A. with concentrations in Creative Writing, Linguistics, Professional and Technical Communication, and Writing Studies. The Chair, through a 12-month appointment, would help strengthen the first-year writing program and the major, and support departmental initiatives through collaborative and visionary leadership. Chair should demonstrate teaching excellence in first-year composition and one of the concentrations.
