I am please to inform you that the Salsa Project team (http://www.coli.uni-saarland.de/projects/salsa) at the university of Saarland (Germany) has recently released: Pathfinder Through Framenet a web application to navigate the FrameNet frame hierarchy. The tool allows to find paths (shortest, etc.) between two frames in the hierarchy, allowing to set different options. The application comes with a graphical web interface which displays the path; it also allows to save the path information into a XML file, so that you can query the tool via HTTP request and obtain a nice output which can be used in your applications. You can find the tool at: http://fnps.coli.uni-saarland.de/pathsearch Any comment is welcomed, and should be addressed to the author Fabian Shirokov (fabians CoLi.Uni-SB.DE) or directly to the SALSA team (salsa-mit CoLi.Uni-SB.DE) Best, Marco Pennacchiotti --------------------------------------------------- Marco Pennacchiotti Research Associate at Computerlinguistik Universität des Saarlandes C7.4, 3.03 Postfach 15 11 50 66041 Saarbrücken, Germany tel: +49 681 302 70029 fax: +49 681 302 43 51 e_mail: pennacchiotti AT coli.uni-sb.de web: http://www.coli.uni-saarland.de/~pennacchiotti ---------------------------------------------------
