We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.
In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have taken the trouble to respond to the query.
To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.html.

Dear Linguists, I am carrying out two surveys on cultural communication and competences used in foreign language education. I would like to kindly ask you to devote a little bit of your precious time to fill in the short attached questionnaire and/or ask your friends/colleagues/students/family members to fill it in, and send it back to me (tunde.bajzat gmail.com). The questionnaire is downloadable from: http://www.uni-miskolc.hu/~ioktundi/QUESTIONNAIRE.rtf Unfortunately it is not interactive, so you'll have to save it to your computer and send it back as an attachment. Also, should you have any comments on the topic or any recommended readings, they're more than welcome. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me. Thank you very much in advance, Tunde Bajzat assistant professor, Foreign Language Teaching Centre, University of Miskolc, Hungary
