Description:
Applications are invited from distinguished scholars for a Chair in English Linguistics (W 3) from 1 October 2008. Candidates must have a PhD in linguistics, an established track record in research, a strong record of publication, the ability to teach the full range of English linguistics (both theoretical and applied) at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and academic and team leadership skills. The faculty welcomes applications from candidates who have experience with third-party funded research projects. The teaching load consists of nine hours a week and the supervision and examination of students at BA, MA and MEd levels.
