Applications are invited for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of
Assistant Professor. 
Qualifications: Ph.D. in linguistics. The preferred candidate will
have demonstrated superiority in teaching and strong scholarly interest
in socio-cognitive and discoursal aspects of language. 
Duties: Teaching at the undergraduate level with possible future
participation in graduate teaching, research, and service to the
University. 
Salary: In accordance with the current collective agreement and
experience. 
Date of appointment: July 1, 1991.
