Abstract:

This volume contains 16 papers selected from the 2008 Symposium on New
Approaches in English Historical Lexis (HEL-LEX 2), which was held in
Lammi, Finland in 2008. The proceedings includes the plenary addresses by
Dieter Kastovsky, whose subject was combining forms, and Elizabeth Knowles,
