Description:
The Department of Linguistics invites applications for the position of Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be in charge of the following duties: - 2 to 4 hours (weekly) exercise sessions in connection with a computer science or computational linguistics course - give assistance to students both for exercises and for semester projects - participate as a PhD student to the research projects of the Language Technology Laboratory (LATL) Required qualifications and conditions for this position are as follows: - Master in informatics or computational linguistics, or closely related area - Skills in teaching at the University level and ability to teach in French - Strong interest in research in the area of automatic language processing - Register as a Ph.D. student under the direction of a member of the Department Duration: the position is limited to 5 years. Salary: the position starts at 70% the first year and reaches 100% the third year. The gross salary is progressive, ranging from 43'500 CHF the first year to 72'500 CHF the fifth year (1 CHF = 0.66 EUR).
