Description:
The newly created teacher training institute at the University of Geneva invites applications for an associate professorship in second language teaching with a specialisation in the teaching of English or German as a foreign language. Applicants should have a PhD and a strong research and teaching record in the field of second language teaching and its history. The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching in the teacher training institute and in the relevant language department in the Faculty of Letters (6 hours per week). Some of the teaching will be in French. Starting date: 1 February 2010 or to be negotiated. Candidates are asked to send 12 copies of a letter of motivation, their curriculum vitae with a list of publications and the highest diploma obtained to the address given below.
