Fixed-term Instructorship in Turkish (Maternity Cover) Grade 6 Instructor Salary £25,623 - £30,594 per annum pro rata Applications are invited for a temporary Instructorship in Turkish. This is a temporary appointment to provide cover during the maternity leave of the permanent postholder. The successful candidate will need to be able to take up the post no later than 1 September 2009, and the appointment will last for seven months after the date of appointment unless the postholder returns earlier than this time. Applicants should have a native or equivalent command of Turkish, and be fluent in English. They should have completed a first degree in Turkish, linguistics or the teaching of English, and should preferably have experience of teaching Turkish as a foreign language. A postgraduate qualification in applied linguistics will be an advantage. Sufficient IT skills to update teaching materials currently held in an electronic format is essential.
