Meeting Description:
The purpose of SLS is to create a community of students and scholars interested in Slavic linguistics, that is, the systematic and scholarly study of the Slavic languages. The Society aspires to be as open and inclusive as possible; no school, framework, approach, or theory is presupposed, nor is there any restriction in terms of geography, academic affiliation or status. Keynote speakers: - Greville Corbett (The University of Chicago) - Laura Janda (The University of Tromsø) - Milan Mihaljevic (Staroslavenski institut, Zagreb)
The Linguistics Department at the University of Zadar, the University of Zadar, and the Institute of Croatian Language and Linguistics, as well as the Slavic Linguistics Society are pleased to announce the 4th annual meeting of the SLS at the University of Zadar (Croatia). The detailed list of the accepted presentations is available online (72 accepted submissions from various linguistic domains, arranged in parallel sessions). We invite you to register for participation! Early registration ends: 25th of July 2009 Lodging: There are possibilities to register for inexpensive lodging in the campus dormitory, as well as limited rebates for hotel rooms.
