42nd Meeting of the Societas Linguistica Europaea
Short Title: SLE 2009
The Societas Linguistica Europaea (SLE) is the European Association for Linguistics. Its members may be Europeans and Non-Europeans. Its purpose is the advancement, in European countries and elsewhere, of the scientific study of language in all its aspects.
SLE meetings welcome participants from all (sub)domains of linguistics. Every year local organizers pay special attention to one specific topic. This year’s conference particularly welcomes papers which deal with the scholarly debate about 'Global languages. Local languages'.
