Subject: ISO 639-3: Requested Code Changes (Region: Asia)

Are you aware of inaccuracies in the ISO 639-3 standard codes for the identification of languages relating to your area of expertise? If so, please consider taking a fairly simple step to get them fixed! Submit a "change request" stating the nature of the change needed, the rationale for it, and the evidence in support of it. Change requests to be processed and decided at the end of 2009 are now being accepted. It is a good idea to send in requests as early as possible. Requests sometimes require clarification or expansion to be sure that everything is complete for review and evaluation.
