'Current Trends in Grammaticalization Research' is a two-day workshop on new
developments in theorizing about grammaticalization and related phenomena.

CTGR Programme

The programme of Current Trends in Grammaticalization Research, featuring four
plenary papers and thirty session papers, is now online. We are pleased to
announce the following plenary papers:

Hans-Olav Enger, University of Oslo:
'Grammaticalization and Morphological Theory'
Nikolaus Himmelmann, University of Münster:
'Prosody and the Origins of Phrase Structure'
Graeme Trousdale, University of Edinburgh:
'Degrammaticalization and Construction Grammar'
Jacqueline Visconti, University of Genova:
'Thoughts on Subjectification'

The complete programme can be downloaded from our website. If you wish to attend
the workshop without giving a paper, we kindly ask you to register by sending an
e-mail to the workshop address. Please provide us with the following
information: (i) your name (ii) your affiliation, and (iii) whether you would
like to attend the conference dinner on Thursday evening (additional fee of 30
euro).

The conference fee is 100 euro (60 for students) and includes the workshop
package, coffee, tea, opening and closing drinks, and two lunches. You may pay
by means of bank transfer (see our website for payment details) or on-site.
