Professur für Englische Sprachwissenschaft
(unbefristetes Arbeitsverhältnis nach dem Angestelltengesetz;
voraussichtlich zu besetzen ab 1.10.2010)
Die Stelleninhaberin/der Stelleninhaber soll das Fach Englische
Sprachwissenschaft im Bachelor- und Masterstudium, Lehramtsstudium
Anglistik/Amerikanistik sowie im Doktoratsstudium in Forschung und Lehre im
Bereich der Systemlinguistik vertreten. Der Schwerpunkt sollte dabei auf
Grammatiktheorie mit besonderer Berücksichtigung funktionaler, semantischer
Ansätze und ihrer Verbindung mit Bereichen wie Soziolinguistik oder
Kognitionsforschung liegen. Von den Bewerberinnen/den Bewerbern wird neben
einem Doktorat in Anglistik (Sprachwissenschaft), eine einschlägige
Habilitation oder gleich zu wertende Qualifikation sowie eine hervorragende
Qualifikation in der Systemlinguistik und ihren Anwendungen erwartet.
Ebenso sollen internationale Forschungsaktivitäten und intensive
Lehrtätigkeit in den genannten Bereichen vorzuweisen sein. Darüber hinaus
sind Erfahrung in der Einwerbung von Drittmitteln sowie Mitarbeit in der
akademischen Selbstverwaltung gewünscht.
