Department of English Language and Linguistics Contribute to a dynamic academic department as Lecturer/Junior Lecturer: 2 posts. This job begins January 2010 or sooner. Candidates for the lecturer positions must have at least an MA in Linguistics, together with sound knowledge of two or more of the following: Systemic Functional Grammar, Psycholinguistics, Language Acquisition/Learning, Critical Discourse Analysis, Sign Language, Genre Analysis, Language in the Workplace. Proven teaching experience at tertiary level is a recommendation at the lecturer level, while a willingness to coordinate a year of study applies at both levels. The ability to teach and supervise postgraduates will be an advantage.
