Description:
The TüZLi (Tübingen Center for Linguistics) at the University of Tübingen is opening a two-year postdoctoral position in the area of crosslinguistic syntax and semantics. The successful candidate will be a researcher with demonstrated research experience in formal semantics and the syntax/semantics interface, especially regarding crosslinguistic variation in this domain. Candidates with a specialization in Non-Indoeuropean languages will be given special consideration. The salary is figured according to the union contract named TVöD, E 13. Applications should include CV, an outline of research experience, as well as names and addresses of up to three references. Applications should be sent by mail or by email to the address below. The position is to be filled as soon as possible. Applications received by December 10, 2009 will receive full consideration, although interviews may start at any time and will continue until the position has been filled.
