The University of Potsdam (Germany) announces its new International M.Sc. /Ph.D. Programme for Experimental and Clinical Linguistics (IECL), an advanced research-orientated and interdisciplinary course of study beginning April 2010. In the integrated master’s and doctoral studies, lectures in psycho- and neurolinguistics are combined with clinical or laboratory-based research, addressing questions concerning the cognitive mechanisms that underlie language acquisition, human language processing and its disorders. All courses are taught in English. Students with a bachelor’s degree who have a strong interest in researching language and the brain, language disorders and human language processing are encouraged to submit their applications until January 15, 2010. Students with a master's or Diploma degree as well as outstanding bachelor's degree students are invited to apply directly to the Ph.D. programme.
