Call for Papers Topics of interest include but not limited to: - Teacher training and teacher development - ELF and Language Teaching - Second language acquisition and learning - Cultural studies and ELT - Approaches and methods - Teaching and Learning technologies - Testing, evaluation and assessment - Critical ELT - Corpus linguistics and English language teaching - Curriculum and syllabus design and planning - The teaching of the four skills - The teaching of grammar - The teaching of vocabulary - ESP teaching and learning - ELT management - Translation and English language teaching - Teaching English to young learners - Materials design and production - Literature and English Language Teaching - Language teacher cognition - Language teachers' conceptions of research - Multilingualism and Interculturalism - Non-native English speaking teachers Our plenary speakers will be: Prof. Dr. Ayşe Akyel, Yeditepe University Prof. Dr. Cem Alptekin, Bosphorus University Prof. Dr. Simon Borg, University of Leeds Prof Dr. Enric Llurda, Universitat de Lleida The deadline for proposals will be January 15th, 2010. The abstracts for papers should not exceed 400 words (min. 250), for workshops and panel discussions 700 words (min. 500). They should have up to 5 main references. Proposals will be considered by the referee committee who will decide on the acceptance or refusal of the contribution. We aim to let you know whether your proposal has been accepted or refused by the beginning of March 2010.
