Meeting Description:

We are pleased to announce the 5th Newcastle Postgraduate Conference in
Linguistics. The conference will be held on Tuesday 23rd March, 2010 in the
Research Beehive at Newcastle University. In addition to student presentations,
there will be guest plenary lectures from Professor Neil Smith of UCL and
Professor Karen Corrigan of Newcastle University.

This conference is run by and for postgraduate students in linguistics, and
welcomes abstracts for poster or oral presentations dealing with any area of
linguistics. See the call for papers, or the conference website for further
details.

Call for Papers

The 5th Newcastle Postgraduate Conference in Linguistics is a chance for
postgraduate students to gather and present their work. In addition to student
presentations, there will be guest plenary lectures from Professor Neil Smith of
UCL and Professor Karen Corrigan of Newcastle University.

We invite abstracts for poster or oral presentations from postgraduate students
in any area of linguistics, theoretical or applied. The deadline for abstract
submission is Sunday 3rd January, 2010. Please send only electronic submissions
