THE BRITISH UNIVERSITY IN DUBAI Professor/Senior Lecturer in English Language Education Faculty of Education The British University in Dubai is looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Professor/Senior Lecturer to join the Faculty of Education. The post holder will have a strong international academic record in aspects of second language learning and teaching and will also demonstrate the ability to provide leadership within a tertiary environment. It is also expected that the post holder provide academic leadership within the Faculty either as Dean or as Head of Programme. The successful candidate must hold a PhD and will be expected to have an established record of successful doctoral and masters level supervision, evidence of strong leadership skills, and experience of working on an MEd programme, preferably with a UK university. Experience of working in international contexts, particularly the Middle East, and teaching multicultural groups is desirable.
