UCL Linguistics: Two AHRC PhD Studentships The Department of Linguistics at UCL (Division of Psychology and Language Sciences) has two AHRC Doctoral Studentships to award to students embarking on an MPhil/PhD in the department starting in October 2010. These comprise three years' full-time fees and maintenance. If you are interested, you should send your application for the Linguistics PhD programme to UCL Admissions by 1st February 2010 at the latest, indicating on your UCL application that you wish to be considered for an AHRC award. For information about how to apply, see: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/lifesciences-faculty/research-programmes/linguistics Before applying, you should establish contact with an appropriate supervisor in the department, sending him/her full details of your academic background and proposed topic. Once you have secured agreement to supervise, you should develop your PhD proposal with the supervisor's guidance.
