The Organization Committee is pleased to announce the XI Encuentro Internacional de Lingüística en el Noroeste, which will be held on the 17-20 November 2010 at the Universidad de Sonora, Hermosillo, Sonora, México. Keynote speakers would proximally be announced.

The University of Sonora, through the program in Linguistics Division of Humanities and Fine Arts, Department of Literature and Linguistics, invites Mexican and foreign linguists interested in the different areas of language study such as: acquisition of L1 and L2 literacy development, speech and grammar, phonetics and phonology, lexicography, clinical linguistics, computational linguistics, historical linguistics, morphology, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, semantics, syntax, sociolinguistics.
