On the occasion of the medal of honour that the Ghent University will award Maria Iliescu, the department of Spanish and Romance Linguistics will organize a symposium called "Romania Omnis: Antiqua et Moderna".
The meeting will take place on Friday 29th of May 2009 in Het Pand, the congress centre of Ghent University.
