Twenty minute papers and panels lasting 100 minutes relating to the conference theme are especially requested. Research findings in all areas of language and linguistics are welcome. Electronic submissions are strongly preferred. Hard-copy submissions will be considered. Call for Papers Extended Deadline: SECOL 77 welcomes papers on the conference theme 'Language and Education', as well as papers in all subfields of Linguistics. The call can be found at www.secol.org. The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to January 1, 2010, due to significant e-mail elecronic failure experienced by the conference contact's institution. If you have submitted an abstract and it has bounced back, please re-submit. If you have not, please feel free to take advantage of the extended deadline. Send abstracts to Dr. Megan E.
