Dear Readers,

As linguists, we travel all over the world to further language research and
documentation, and to meet with one another to discuss our findings.
Regardless of where you may find yourself, The LINGUIST List’s online
services are just a click away to help you keep in touch.

For our 2009 fund drive, we would like to expand our current photo gallery
of readers wearing LINGUIST attire around the world. If you would like to
contribute pictures of yourself, your friends and colleagues – or even
pictures of your pets! – wearing LINGUIST attire, please email Maria
Moreno-Rollins at marialinguistlist.org.

Please note that we will be offering LINGUIST attire (t-shirts, bandanas,
baby onesies, dog leashes, and more!) as premiums in this year’s fund
drive, and we welcome pictures of readers in new LINGUIST wear! Although we
hope to receive contributions before fund drive begins, we will be
accepting pictures and updating the gallery throughout the month. The
gallery will be linked in to The LINGUIST List for the duration of the 2009
fund drive.
