Meeting Description:
The PAAL Conference is a forum for academic exchanges among scholars and
practitioners in applied linguistics and related areas. The conference provides
a venue for the dissemination of current research on a wide variety of issues
concerning Asia and beyond.

Presentation Format
1. Paper: 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion and questions.
2. Poster: 2 hour blocks will be designated for display and discussion.
Submission Guidelines
Proposals
Subscribe to PAAL member before submitting your proposal.
Submit your proposal on the website (This site is available on 1st of April).
Limit your proposal to 400 words or less.
The deadline of submission of proposals is 1st of May, 2009.
The notification of acceptance is expected to be sent by the 9th of May, 2009.
Proceedings
The deadline of submission of proceedings is 30th of June, 2009. Submit your
paper on the website below (This site is available on 1st of June). Limit your
paper to 4 or 6 page. The template for PAAL proceedings is available on 1st of
June.

Membership fees can be paid by PAYPAL or Postal transfer. Unless you pay for
your membership fees annually, your membership will be terminated. Your
co-authors also need to be members of PAAL as well and their membership fees
should be paid in advance before you submit your joint paper(s).
