Meeting Description:
Semantics and Linguistic Theory (SALT) is the major North-American conference on formal semantics as a subfield of linguistics. Invited Speakers: Martina Faller, Linguistics, University of Manchester Anna Papafragou, Psychology, University of Delaware Christopher Potts, Linguistics, Stanford University Jason Stanley, Philosophy, Rutgers University
Program announcement and call for participation: The program for SALT 20 is now available on the conference website: http://www.sfu.ca/linguistics/salt20/program.html SALT (Semantics and Linguistic Theory) 20 will take place April 29 -- May 1, 2010, in Vancouver, BC, Canada. People who are interested in attending the conference are strongly encouraged to pre-register online, and to make their hotel and travel arrangements as soon as possible.
This Year the LINGUIST List hopes to raise $65,000. This money will go to help
keep the List running by supporting all of our Student Editors for the coming year.

any gift you make to a non-profit organization. Normally this entails your
contacting your human resources department and sending us a form that the
EMU Foundation fills in and returns to your employer. This is generally a simple
