Meeting Description:

The Department of Early Childhood Education, Hong Kong Institute of
Education, is pleased to announce the 1st International Conference on
Teaching and Learning of English in the Early Year in the Asia Pacific
Region. The Conference will take place from Friday, May 28, through
Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, Hong
Kong.

Call for Papers

Themes:
Curriculum, pedagogies, assessment
Language and literacy development
Language education policies
Teacher education
Home-school partnership

The abstract should contain no more than 300 words, using a 12 pt. font
with 2.5 cm (or 1 inch) margins on all sides.

English is preferred for the abstract submission. Chinese abstract with an
English summary can also be considered.

Name of participant, affiliation, e-mail address, contact phone numbers and
fax number should be put on a separate page.

Abstract can be sent to Dr. Lornita Wong at tleeyied.edu.hk on or before
12 April, 2010.
This Year the LINGUIST List hopes to raise $65,000. This money will go to help 
keep the List running by supporting all of our Student Editors for the coming year.
