CALL FOR PAPERS for the Estudos de Lingüística Galega (vol. 3, 2011) Deadline for submission of full papers: 15th of July, 2010 Estudos de lingüística galega is a meeting point for scientific exchanges about the Galician language and a forum for the publication of linguistic research and critical analysis. In accordance with these three objectives, the journal publishes: - Original research articles on linguistics and philology about or related to Galician, especially if concerned with Portuguese. Such research articles, whether long or short, make up the journal's Pescuda section. - Squibs, notes and other short original items concerning the norms of the standard Galician language; these make up the Peneira section. - A production inventory for the year prior to the year of publication, together with original critical reviews of linguistic studies that are of direct or indirect relevance to Galician. These make up the Anada section. The languages of the journal are Galician, other Romance languages of the Iberian Peninsula, French, Italian and English. No articles in languages other than these will be accepted for publication. We invite substantial, original, and unpublished submissions on all topics related to the linguistics and philology about or related to Galician, especially if concerned with Portuguese. Full articles should be at the most 25 and at least 15 pages long; short articles, at the most 15 and at least eight pages; notes, at the most eight, reviews at the most five and at least three. Manuscripts should be sent to elgilg usc.es as electronic files in a format compatible with widely-used word-processors for the PC.
