Full Title: IBERIA: An International Journal of Theoretical Linguistics

Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics

Call Deadline: 16-Apr-2010

We are pleased to announce that the first issue of IBERIA: An International
Journal of Theoretical Linguistics (ISSN: 1989-8525) has just been launched.

Iberia is a six-monthly, online, open-access journal on theoretical
linguistics in any of its disciplines: syntax, semantics, phonology,
discourse, etc. It is mostly focused on generative grammar, although it is
open to other frameworks as well. The main goal of the journal is to
circulate peer-reviewed, high-quality, on-going work by researchers in the
field in as short a period of time as possible, made feasible through the
online platform of Iberia. This journal is supported by the University of
Seville Philology Faculty and Universidade do Minho Instituto de Letras e
Ciências Humanas.

We are currently accepting submissions for our second issue which is due
out in June 2010. The deadline for issue 2 is April 16, 2010. We welcome
research articles on any language and subfield of theoretical linguistics
within the generative approach. We intend to publish three issues a year.
Only unpublished contributions will be considered. The language of
publication is English.

In order to contribute to our next volume, authors are asked to visit our
homepage, register and follow the instructions provided. For more
information please visit the journal's homepage at

Editors: Pilar Barbosa, Vicky Camacho and Angel Jimenez
