Salary: £27,319 - £35,646 (with potential progression to £38,951) The School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics is seeking to appoint a full-time temporary Teaching Associate for ten months to replace a member of staff on leave of absence. With this appointment we seek to consolidate the provision of teaching excellence and enhance further the School's expertise in the delivery of courses in Linguistics and English language. The successful candidate will develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in child language acquisition, with a further specialisation in a second subfield of linguistics which would complement existing expertise within the School, such as psycholinguistics, bilingual acquisition, or bilingualism. The appointment forms part of the School's strategic plan to sustain its expertise and international recognition in Linguistics and English language. The post is available from 1 September 2010 for 10 months.
