Meeting Description:

The first 'Workshop on Non-Indo-European Lexifier, Non-West African Pidgin and
Creole Languages' will take place at Newcastle University June 10-11th, 2010.

This two-day workshop brings together a range of specialists on Non-European
lexifier (and/or non-West African substrate) Pidgin and Creole languages. The
workshop provides a platform to exchange ideas/disseminate findings and
hopefully push forward our understanding of this group of under-researched
languages.

Please note the deadline for early registration is May 15th, 2010.
