The topics of interest to the workshop include, but are not limited to, the following: Natural Language parsing, Natural Language generation, Multilingual text processing, Knowledge discovery, Discourse anaphora resolution, Discourse analysis, Dialog systems, Question answering, Information retrieval, Information extraction, Summarisation, Translation, Learning, Reasoning. The workshop is open to theoretical approaches to natural language understanding, including syntax and semantics, models of grammar, relations between linguistic representations and interpretations, the properties of the interfaces between the grammar and the external systems.
