The Incontro aims to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas between researchers at all levels (postgraduate participation is particularly sought) from all over the UK and abroad. Invited speakers: Paola Benincà (Università di Padova) Andrea Calabrese (University of Connecticut) Martin Maiden (University of Oxford) Nigel Vincent (University of Manchester) We are happy to announce that the 10th Incontro di dialettologia italiana will be held on 22-24 September 2010 at the University of Bristol. The meeting will comprise a thematic workshop on the Diachronic Evolution of (Italo)- Romance Pronominal Systems. Presentations, either in Italian or English, will be 20 minutes (plus 10 minutes for discussion). Abstracts should be no longer than two pages in length (including examples and references), in 12-point type. Authors are asked to send their abstracts to diego.pescatinibristol.ac.uk The deadline for all abstracts (for the general session and the workshops) is 31 July 2010. Notification of acceptance will be given by 10 August 2010. Those interested in attending the meeting and the workshop should register sending an e-mail to diego.pescarinibristol.co.uk. Registration fee is £35 (£20 for students).
