Meeting Description:

The Incontro di dialettologia italiana is widely known as a regular platform for
debate on all aspects of Italo-Romance dialectology, past and present,
generating much exchange of ideas and information at an international level.
The Incontro aims to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas between
researchers at all levels (postgraduate participation is particularly sought)
from all over the UK and abroad.

Paola Benincà (Università di Padova)
Andrea Calabrese (University of Connecticut)
Martin Maiden (University of Oxford)
Nigel Vincent (University of Manchester)

We are happy to announce that the 10th Incontro di dialettologia italiana will
be held on 22-24 September 2010 at the University of Bristol. The meeting
will comprise a thematic workshop on the Diachronic Evolution of (Italo)-
Romance Pronominal Systems.

Presentations, either in Italian or English, will be 20 minutes (plus 10 minutes
for discussion). Abstracts should be no longer than two pages in length
(including examples and references), in 12-point type. Authors are asked to
send their abstracts to diego.pescatinibristol.ac.uk The deadline for all
abstracts (for the general session and the workshops) is 31 July 2010.
Notification of acceptance will be given by 10 August 2010. Those interested
in attending the meeting and the workshop should register sending an e-mail
to diego.pescarinibristol.co.uk. Registration fee is £35 (£20 for students).

Siamo lieti di annunciare che il X Incontro di dialettologia italiana si terrà dal
22 al 24 settembre 2010 all'Università di Bristol. All'interno dell'incontro è
previsto un workshop sull'Evoluzione diacronica dei sistemi pronominali

Le comunicazioni, in italiano o in inglese, avranno una durata di 20 minuti (più
10 minuti per la discussione). Le proposte di comunicazione non dovranno
eccedere le due pagine (inclusi gli esempi e la bibliografia), in corpo 12. Gli
abstract dovranno essere inviati a diego.pescarinibristol.ac.uk La scadenza
per l'invio delle proposte (sia per la sessione generale che per il workshop) è il
31 luglio 2010. L'accettazione della proposta sarà comunicata entro il 10
agosto 2010. Tutti gli interessati a partecipare all'incontro sono pregati di
registrarsi mandando un'e-mail a diego.pescarinibristol.ac.uk. La quota di
