Cahiers is an A-category international journal of linguistics which focuses on the languages of East and Southeast Asia. The journal is based at the Centre for Linguistic Research on East Asian Languages (CRLAO), France. It is published with the support of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). Cahiers publishes one volume with two issues per year. Cahiers publishes articles of the highest quality in English, French, and Chinese, to substantially contribute to our understanding of the structure and development of East and Southeast Asian languages. It contains articles, short discussion papers, notes, and reviews. We cordially invite you to submit original descriptive, historical, and typological papers in phonetics/phonology, morphology, syntax, lexicology, and semantics, that are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Contributions on poorly documented and lesser-known East and Southeast Asian languages are particularly welcome. Please note that Cahiers de Linguistique - Asie Orientale has been classified as an A-category linguistics journal by the European Research Index of the Humanities, belonging to the European Science Foundation.
