Full Title: International Congress for the Study of Child Language Short Title: IASCL 2011 Date: 19-Jul-2011 - 23-Jul-2011 Location: Montreal, Canada Contact Person: Sanja Obradovic Meeting Email: obradovic.sanja uqam.ca Web Site: http://www.iascl2011.org/ Linguistic Field(s): Language Acquisition; Psycholinguistics Call Deadline: 15-Aug-2010 Meeting Description: The next IASCL congress will be held in Montreal, Canada on 19-23 July 2011. The planned location for the conference is the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM), located in the city's urban core. The general theme of the congress is Social, Genetic and Cognitive determinants in the Acquisition and Development of Child Language. General information can be found at http://www.iascl2011.org, where you will find details about the venue of the conference and accommodation. 2nd Call For Papers The organization and program of the IASCL Montreal-2011 conference is progressing at a good pace. There are also important amendments and clarifications to announce. Please note that the submission deadlines have been extended by 2 weeks. August 15, 2010 is the deadline for symposia submissions. October 15, 2010 is the deadline for poster submissions. We have also received a few queries about authorship and responsibility for an abstract. Below is the clarification: There is one responsible person per abstract. Although co-authors and their affiliations may be listed in an abstract, a contributor may only be responsible for one oral (symposium) presentation and one poster presentation. Thus, a contributor may deliver not more than one oral presentation. Responsible authors appear as first author in the abstracts that they are presenting (one oral and/or one poster presentation). The number of times a contributor may be listed as a co?author is not limited. For further details, please see the amended call for abstracts at http://www.iascl2011.org/submission , or download it as a PDF file at http://www.iascl.org/media/pdfs/IASCL-2011-Amended-Call-For- Abstracts.pdf We look forward to reading your abstracts and seeing you in Montreal!
