The theme for 2012 is "Metaphor in Mind and Society", and confirmed plenary speakers are Masako Hiraga, Albert Katz and Andreas Musolff. There will be a number of pre-conference workshops on methods of metaphor analysis (confirmed facilitators: Irene Mittelberg, Cornelia Mueller, Anatol Stefanowitsch). The main organisers are Elena Semino and Veronika Koller. More detailed information and a call for papers will be sent out closer to the time.
