Abstract:

New Edition

Der Volksstamm der Banöho gehört zu der großen Bantuvölkerfamilie
Zentralafrikas. Dieser Stamm ist nicht sehr zahlreich und bewohnt
gegenwärtig nur die Batangaküste (Kamerun). Nach ihrer Tradition wollen die
Banôho mit den weiter im Innern des mittleren und südlichen Kamerun
wohnenden Bau, Buli, Bane, Jaunde, Mgumba usw. keine Verwandtschaft

In his grammatical sketch Leo Reinisch focuses on nominal and verbal
morphology of Banôho, a Bantu language of Central Africa. The study also
includes basic information on phonology and morphology (verbs, nouns,
adjectives, personal pronouns, numbers, prepositions, adverbs a small
Banôho - German dictionary. This re-edition has been published as no. 06 in
the LINCOM Gramatica (LINGram) series (originally published 1907, written in
German).
