Like its predecessors, the conference will cover different aspects of the study of Middle English language and linguistics, textual studies and literature. Call for Papers We have great pleasure to announce that the Seventh International Conference on Middle English (ICOME7) will be held in Lviv, Ukraine, on 3- 5 August 2011. As decided at the concluding meeting of ICOME6 in Cambridge ICOME7 will be hosted by the Department of English Philology of Ivan Franko National University in Lviv. Papers Participants are invited to submit proposals for 20-minute presentations (to be followed by 10-minute discussion) on any topic within the abovementioned areas. Such proposals should be submitted in the form of 400-word abstracts in .doc or .rtf format (preferably in Times 12 fonts) and sent by e-mail to icome7.lviv gmail.com by the 31st January 2011. Notice of acceptance will be sent in April 2011. Proposals for workshops or panels on specific topics are welcome. These should reach the organizing committee preferably by mid-November 2010. Abstracts of the accepted papers and of the plenary lectures will be printed into a booklet and distributed to participants at registration. They will also be available on the conference website.
