Meeting Description:

CamTESOL - the annual Cambodian ELT conference is one of Asia's best-
kept secrets. This ELT conference series is the premier professional
development forum for teachers of English in Cambodia. It is a significant
international conference in the region that attracts roughly 1,200
participants, including over 300 international delegates from more than 30
countries around the world. CamTESOL was established and has been
supported by IDP Education (Cambodia) since 2005. Since its
establishment, the conference has gained the support of the government
and has also gained strong support from universities, languages schools,
local and international NGOs, and the business community in Cambodia and
overseas.

CamTESOL is designed to be practical and of direct benefit to practicing
teachers of English. The conference brings together numerous groups of
stakeholders from Cambodia and the broader Asian region as well as other
international participants and presenters. These include classroom teachers
of English, teacher trainees, language school and university administrators,
ELT-related individuals and institutions, domestic and international
educators, experts, and researchers who wish to network with the
Cambodian ELT community.

Call For Papers

We now invite all those working in the field of English Language Teaching
(ELT) or related areas, or who have an interest in this field to submit an
abstract for the 2011 CamTESOL conference on 26-27 February. Practising
teachers of English are especially invited to participate. Abstracts are for a
paper, workshop or poster.

Deadline for Abstract Submission: 30 September 2010

Notification re. Abstract Selection: 25 October 2010

Deadline for Full Paper Submission to be Considered for Publication: 7
March 2011

All abstracts must be submitted electronically by completing the template
cover page which is downloadable from the following link. Abstracts must
not exceed 150 words. All papers and workshops should relate to the
twenty streams of this conference:
