Description:
Boston University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Linguistics to begin in September 2011, pending budgetary approval. Requirements include a Ph.D. in Linguistics, a strong background in linguistic theory, primary specialization in language acquisition, and secondary specialization in some area of linguistic theory. Demonstrated excellence in research and in undergraduate and graduate level teaching and advising is expected. Candidates should send e-mail to the application email below with the following pdf attachments: a letter of application, CV, and separate statements of research and teaching interests. Please include names and e-mail addresses of three referees, and also indicate whether you plan to attend the LSA meeting in January.
